A better way to review your own matches

Most players review matches emotionally. They remember the missed smash, the bad line call, or the score at the end. That rarely leads to better training. A better review asks simple repeata

I like the “two or three patterns only” rule. Match review becomes much more useful when it leads directly into the next session plan.

For me the hardest part is being honest about whether it was a technical miss or just a bad decision. They feel the same during a frustrating game.
