A quick note that helps a lot: describe what the racket feels like in defence and at the net, not just on smashes.

Would be good to hear from players who changed only string before changing racket. That is often the cheaper first fix.

Current setup: 4U even-balance racket with BG80 at 24lbs. Works well for doubles, but I still prefer slightly softer strings if I know I will be playing a long club night.
