For me, calmness is underrated. A partner who does not panic after one bad rally is much easier to build rhythm with.

Clear serve-and-return intentions make a huge difference too. So many easy points are lost because both players are guessing.

Communication without over-talking. Just enough to make intentions clear without creating noise in the rally.
