Split conditioning — how often should you do it?

Coach has me doing split conditioning 3x a week now and I'm feeling it in my thighs the next day. It's clearly working but I'm worried about overtraining. For those who've done structured conditioning as part of badminton training — what's a sustainable schedule that doesn't leave you too fatigued for actual court work?
