What makes a club feel welcoming from the first night: good rotation, level matching, clear hosts, socials, or something else?

Clear rotation matters most. New players relax much faster when someone explains how games are mixed and how long they will wait.

A named host at the door helps a lot. It removes that awkward first ten minutes where people are not sure who to speak to.
