Community Rules
Last updated: March 2026. These rules keep the forum welcoming for everyone.
1. Be respectful
Treat everyone with respect regardless of their playing level, background, or experience. We were all beginners once. No personal attacks, harassment, or discrimination of any kind.
2. Stay on topic
Post in the right category. Coaching questions go in Coaching & Technique, gear talk goes in Equipment & Reviews, and so on. Off-topic posts may be moved by moderators.
3. No spam or self-promotion
Don't repeatedly post links to your YouTube channel, coaching business, or online store. If you have something genuinely useful to share, one post is fine — but don't flood the forum. Marketplace listings for personal equipment sales are welcome in the Marketplace category.
4. Marketplace rules
When selling equipment, you must include: item condition (honest assessment), asking price in GBP, your general location, and a clear description. Do not misrepresent the condition of items. See our How Pricing Works guide for help setting fair prices. The forum takes no commission — all transactions are between buyer and seller. Meet in public places for collection.
5. No counterfeit equipment
Selling or promoting counterfeit rackets, shoes, or other equipment is strictly prohibited and will result in an immediate ban. If you suspect a listing is for counterfeit goods, use the report button.
6. Keep it safe
Don't share personal information like phone numbers or home addresses publicly. Use private messages for arranging meetups. When meeting someone from the forum, choose a public location like a sports centre.
7. Coaching advice disclaimer
Advice shared on this forum is from fellow players and coaches sharing their experience. It is not a substitute for professional coaching. If you have an injury, consult a medical professional before following any exercise or training advice posted here.
8. Reporting
If you see a post that breaks these rules, use the report button. Moderators will review reports and take action. Don't engage with rule-breakers — report and move on.
9. Moderation
Moderators reserve the right to edit, move, or remove posts that violate these rules. Repeated violations will result in a temporary or permanent ban. Moderator decisions can be appealed by contacting the admin team.
