Let's have some fun - what are the best badminton rallies you've ever seen? I'll start with my top 3:\n\n1. Lin Dan vs Lee Chong Wei - 2012 Olympic final. That 54-shot rally in the second game. Still gives me goosebumps.\n\n2. Taufik Hidayat's backhand smash compilation. Not a single rally but that man's backhand was a thing of beauty.\n\n3. Kevin/Marcus doubles rallies - the Minions at their best. Speed, creativity, and shots that shouldn't be physically possible.\n\nWhat are yours?

The Zheng Si Wei / Huang Ya Qiong mixed doubles are incredible to watch. Their coordination is telepathic. And any rally featuring Tai Tzu Ying - her deception is outrageous. She makes world-class players look like beginners.

For coaching purposes, I always show students the Momota rallies from 2019. His court coverage and patience are incredible teaching examples. Not the most exciting to watch but tactically brilliant.

Going to throw in a left-field one - the 2024 All England mixed doubles final had some insane rallies. The level of mixed doubles has gone through the roof in recent years. It's the most entertaining format to watch now imo.
