Just sold my first racket on here and need to post it. What is the best way to pack a badminton racket for shipping? Do not want it to arrive damaged.
Also what courier do people use? Royal Mail seems expensive for something this long.

I ship rackets regularly for my stringing business. Best method:
- Wrap the head in bubble wrap, especially the 10 and 2 oclock positions
- Use a cardboard tube if possible, or tape two flat pieces of card around it
- Do NOT bend or flex the frame when packing
For courier I use Evri (formerly Hermes), the large parcel option works. About 4-5 quid.

Agree with Ray. Also worth noting that Parcelforce do a tube-shaped option that works perfectly. A bit more expensive (around 8 quid) but more reliable than Evri in my experience.

I usually ask at my local sports shop if they have any empty racket boxes. Most are happy to give them away. Perfect fit and free protection.
